Mr Anton Fries was appointed Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust in 2018, specialising in trauma, sarcoma and hand reconstruction, and has a special research interest in Vascularised Composite Allotransplantation.

During his training, Anton has worked in a number of world renowned centres. He has undertaken training placements in the West Midlands and South West Deaneries, as well as in South Africa, the USA and Taiwan. He completed his Vascularised Composite Allotransplantation research in San Antonio, Texas, and the 1-year microsurgical fellowship in Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taipei, Taiwan.
